From the perspective of human anatomy, the thickness and diameter of the arterial blood vessels in the upper arm are almost the same as those in the wrist. The diameter of the arterial vessels in the upper arm is 4.2mm-6.0mm, and the diameter of the arterial vessels in the wrist is 4.2mm-5.0mm. In terms of the design accuracy and manufacturing accuracy of the instrument, the inspection specifications at the factory are also consistent, so there is no significant error in principle. The problem of posture errors during measurement is often the cause of large errors. Studies have shown that when measuring at a position higher than the height of the heart, for every 10cm increase in blood pressure, the value decreases by about 8mmHg, and for every 10cm decrease in blood pressure, the value increases by about 8mmHg. Secondly, the elasticity of the armband and the posture of the human body during measurement can both affect the measurement results. The wrist style is relatively lightweight compared to the upper arm style, suitable for carrying, and convenient for daily blood pressure management. Friendly reminder: It is suggested that the middle-aged and elderly, diabetes, perennial hypertension, and people with poor peripheral circulation system should not use wrist type, and try to choose upper arm type.
